The hand-finished stainless steel blade is strong and durable. The black handle is quite soft and slip proof, be it dry or wet and is completely dishwasher safe, even with the rubber handle. There are grooves of rubber nearly an inch long between the handle and the steel. The handles are built with the same material dishwasher gaskets are made of. Ergonomically designed, the handle fits comfortably in your hand and offers a great grip. We found it to be pressure absorbing and the handle also puts less amount of tension on your hands making it easier to handle. The handle comes with a hole in it for storage/ hanging. Though the knife is dishwasher proof, it is recommended you hand wash it with warm, soapy water and dry immediately after wash.

Overall:
